Frequently asked
How long does it take to learn kitesurfing?
The standard course is 10 to 12 hours over three to five days, and most people are up on the board within it. Riding independently generally takes 15 to 20 days on the water.
Can I teach myself to kitesurf?
Not advisable under any circumstances. Most serious accidents in the sport happen to people who never had formal instruction. A course costs €350 to €600 and is the one part of the budget where saving makes no sense.
